Liverpool Trip

Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Liverpool on Thursday 27th September.  In the Maritime museum the children took part in a Pirate workshop where they learnt how to haul a sail, sing sea shanties and all about Pirate ships.  The class was then split into two teams (Skulls and Bones) and had to battle out who knew the most about Pirates. Well done to Alexandru and Malakai who were excellent captains for the teams. Also, congratulations to the Skulls who were the clear champions. The whole class was rewarded with some special chocolate gold.

After lunch, we jumped aboard the ferry and set sail down the River Mersey. This was a very memorable experience and the children brought a lot of joy to Liverpool docks in their amazing outfits.  Take a look at our photographs and all the sleepy Pirates after a crazy adventure.

The children’s behaviour was outstanding. A great day, Me hearties!
